Pete Johnson Towing

Message: This is my second.. SECOND time locking my keys in my car.. on top of that having totaled my car a few years back in a deer accident. Pete Johnsons has always had my back with speedy service! I'd highly recommend them and their prices can't be beat!

Message: My daughter locked her keys in her car with her cell phone. She’s three hours away in school. While I’m on the phone with my roadside service, this tow driver safe her in need, stopped and got her into her car and refused payment. Thanks for taking care of a young female in need!

Message: While we didn't end up using Pete's, they were vary courteous and called back right away to inform us that the wait was going to be longer than expected & they directed us to another towing service they thought could help us. The price they quoted was WAY less than the first place I tried. My husband, after talking with Pete's dispatch & being a former tow truck driver himself, knew that this was a good and honest provider.

Message: I have known this business since 1977 when Mr. Johnson was running it. He had a great following and always tried to treat people right. I had learned about his passing sometime back and now understand his son is now running the business. I’m sure Pete instilled a moral teaching to his children and still this day I would still use them if I break down going thru Huntsville. This is in regards to a comment I read earlier about a vet claiming bad driving behavior. You can’t judge a business based off one bad judgment call. I would think that if I had seen a wrecker coming up in my rear view mirror at a faster rate than the speed limit get the hell out of the way. I personally have driven a wrecker and have been told by law enforcement to get to a scene as fast as possible. I have recovered people trapped and or pinned in vehicles and every second counts. So Vet we appreciate your service but remember if you or your family member were trapped you wouldn’t want a geriatric driver coming to your rescue. Phil B.

Message: I had the misfortune of a family member getting pulled over and subsequently arrested resulting in an old vehicle still registered to me getting impounded. I've never dealt with this before. I did call and ask questions which was probably annoying. I'm sure the clientele these guys deal with aren't always the best. When I got up there, the guy who helped me out was super nice and chatty. The other guys were nice and didn't like, glare at me or anything as I loaded up to drive away. I did take their business card. If I get in a bind and need a tow in the area, I will be calling on these guys.

Message: We broke down on a Sunday during our spring break road trip and got the truck towed over to Firestone to have the water pump replaced. Steve arrived quickly and was just as kind as could be. He made room in his truck for the four of us and even gave us a ride to a nearby shopping center to kill some time after dropping my vehicle off. He was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for us. I spoke w Dallas and one other employee as well, who were also both very helpful. I’m thankful for this company and for Steve. Great people.
